How do I sign in?

Clicking this link will be take you to the sign in page, where you can enter your email and password to sign in.

Why can I not login?

Until you are added in Pulse and approved by the HR of your organization you cannot login to pulse. Contact your manager for getting added to Pulse.

How do I enter time?

Once you are signed into Pulse, you will be taken to the Timesheet page or you can click the link TIME SHEET in the sidebar, where you can book time on the projects you are assigned.

In the above picture, you can see that the projects you are assigned will be in the bold text. And under each project, there are tasks.

Time entry is made at task level. Once the time is entered it is auto saved. To remove an entry, just make it zero or delete the number from the field.

What is the limit for entering time?

You can book up to 24 hours in a day in same project or even different projects.

How do I add description for time?

You can also add an optional description to the time you are entering.

Click on the icon that appears when you hover over a time entry field. Clicking this icon opens a dialog box where you enter the description of your activity.

Why some boxes are grey shaded and I cannot enter time in them?

After you have entered time it will be sent to your project managers for review and approval. Once your time is approved the field is greyed out indicating the time is approved and can no longer be edited.

How do reenter time for approved entry?

In the rare situation that you need to resubmit an approved time, you can click the icon in the time entry field and open the description dialog box.

Click the reenter time button and you will be asked to enter Reason for reentering time and Revised Time to be reentered. Once reentered, the time will get resubmitted for approval.

Note: For deleting an approved time entry you have to resubmit 0 hours. This will also be required to be approved.

What should I do if I am on leave today?

Full day Leave or part of the day leave can be recorded in the Leave item under the Non-Billable Tasks section.

Apart from leave, you can also record idle time, training, and other non-billable items here.

How do I enter expense for the day?

Expense entry is possible only when this option is enabled in your organization.

Click the icon in the time entry field to open the description dialog.

Click the Add Expense button to start adding expenses.

You will be asked to enter the Description for the expense and the Amount.

You can delete an expense item by clicking the trash icon near the description of the expense. Expenses once approved cannot be deleted.

How do I enter time for past dates?

The time sheet’s default time range will be the current week. To go back to past week you can use date range navigator on the top of the time sheet..

By clicking the arrow buttons, we can navigate back and forth through the days. Click the button to get back to the current week.

Can I customize the default week range shown?

By default, the timesheet is the past 5 days starting from the current date. But you can change it display the current week from Sunday going up to Saturday.

BY clicking the Switch to 7-day layout we can change it to 7.

Why does some project don’t have any tasks?

By default, all tasks in a project are hidden to make it easier to navigate the timesheet. To see the tasks under a project, click on the project name.

I want certain tasks to be shown by default. How to do this?

By bookmarking a task within a project, we can make the task always appear on the timesheet without having to maximize the project.

To bookmark a task, click the icon near the task name.

How do I change password for my account?

Click on the user name at top right corner of the page and go to account settings.

You can change your password in account settings.

What should I do if I forgot my current password?

In the Sign In page the is a link Forgot your password? . Follow that link to request setting a new password.

Reset instructions will be sent to your email id and you can reset your password from there.

I have a lot of projects, how to find them quickly in my timesheet?

You can use the search field in the timesheet header to filter projects by name.

What is My task is not listed link?

If you worked on a task that was not added to a project, you can use the “My task is not listed” option to find the task you worked on and book time against it.

What if my project is not there in timesheet?

If the project is not listed, contact your manager or organization admin.

How do I check if I have booked time on all working days?

Quickly check if you have missed to record time through the My Compliance tab. Get a bird’s eye of your time booked/unbooked.

What is my activity page?

My Activity page shows a heat map of your time booking.

Darker colored boxes indicate that you have worked 8 hours are more.

You can also change the date range for which this report is run.

Non-billable hours can be either included or excluded in the heat map.

Also, there are statistics about how you are spending your time.

What is Resubmissions page?

Once the time entries and expenses are entered they will be sent to the approver. The approver can either approve or reject your submission. The rejected time entries and expenses will be shown in the Resubmissions page.

You can reenter correct time in the box and click the green tick button to resubmit the time.

You can choose not to resubmit by entering zero time.

This page will be visible only if the you have rejected entries.

What is Approvals page?

Approvals page is visible only for people who have approval access.

Time entries submitted by the users will be displayed in this page for the approval of project approvers or their reporting managers.

Once the approver selects the unapproved time entries. The following buttons will visible at the bottom of the page.

If you click the approve button the entries you have selected will be approved. If you want to decline the entries press the decline button where you will the asked to provide a reason for declining. The person whose time entry was declined will be notified of the rejection along with the reason submitted.

I can’t find a solution here for my question.
